FOOD & FUN
We are truly proud to present our Parisian guest chef Laetitia Bret who is joining us for the Food & Fun Festival, March 4-8.
Laetitia Bret was born and raised in Paris, the city of love and the heart of French cuisine.
In 2005 she graduated from the renowned french school Ferrandi and started her Parisian career in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Le Ritz and Le Carré des Feuillants.
She discovered the bistronomy world when she worked at Le Bistral, one of the pioneer natural wine restaurants in Paris, where she was first hired as head chef position at the age of 29 years old. Being a head chef stimulated her ambition to create a more convivial space, closer to the customer and more freedom in the cuisine creation.
In 2014, she opened her first restaurant, Esquisse, in Montmartre with her partner Thomas Meunier, a natural wines specialist.
She is inspired by classic, traditional, feminine and generous bistro cuisine with a twist of surprise and modernity, using seasonal ingredients, flowers and mostly local produce. As well as riding the no waste cooking wave.
In 2019, they opened their second restaurant, Sanguine, following the home-sharing style spirit of bistro cuisine and will open their third restaurant this spring.
We are truly honored to have Laetitia during Food & Fun and look forward to sharing her talents and expertise with our guests.
Food & Fun takes place Wednesday the 4th of March through Sunday the 8th. It's the seventeenth time VOX participates in this fabulous food festival.
